Eisenhower Warns Nation of Military Industrial Complex

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist.

We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together."

To the concern of President Eisenhower, the control over Recovered Alien Technology and it's reverse engineering and implementation was given, or more precisely attained - possibly usurped - exclusively to a small group of non-governmental elitists, a group that is known as The Military Industrial Complex. This group evolved from "The Majestic Twelve," a group assembled by President Harry Truman which composed of 12 members of which 6 were civilian. Through a combination of manipulation, bribes, and other power play tactics, the civilian members - with help of inside government officials - wrangled control of the group and now wield power they were never intended to possess. "Money talks, bullshit walks. That's how it works," explains Gnos Sherman.
